Course and Degree Exams

Information for Medicine & Surgery Students (Enrolled from Academic Year 2023/24)

Students can earn 2 ECTS credits for the course “Entrance into the World of Work (Safety Course)” – 1st Year, 1st Semester by attending the General Health and Safety Training Course taught by Dr. Gianfranco Scano.

This course is in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/08.

How to Access the Course:

1. Registration: Students must fill out the mandatory registration form:

2. Course Structure: The course consists of five lessons, approximately 1 hour each.
3. Accessing Lessons (via TEAMS):
   • Go to: https://elearning.uniss.it/course/index.php?categoryid=471
   • Log in using your SelfStudenti credentials
   • Enter “Corso di Formazione Generale”
   • Enter the enrollment key for your group (see below)
   • Enter “Module 1 – Lesson”
4. Completion and Tests:
   • At the end of each module, there is a learning assessment test.
   • After each lesson, check the completion box at the top right to access the test.
   • After passing the test, check the completion box again to proceed to the next module.
   • Only students who complete all modules and tests, and update their SelfStudenti profile with date and place of birth, can download the General Training Certificate in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/08.

Credit Recognition:
Students must send a request to the Student Office of the Faculty of Medicine by email at llsaba@uniss.it, attaching the issued certificate to receive the 2 ECTS credits.

Study Plans
All students are reminded that at the start of each academic year, after renewing their enrollment, they must log into the SelfStudenti platform to complete and CONFIRM their study plan.
This step updates the student’s record with the courses scheduled for the relevant academic year.

Final Exam Credits – 5th Year, 2nd Semester

The 6 ECTS credits for the final exam can be certified by a declaration from the thesis supervisor, attached to an email sent to adedola@uniss.it.

The declaration must state that the student (full name), student ID number, has earned 6 ECTS credits for Final Exam Preparation in the department of (department or unit name) from (start date) to (end date) for a total of 150 hours.

Recognition of English Certificates

English certificates will be recognized only if issued within the last two years from the date of the certificate.
